Property must be in the City of Tucson

Property must be built prior to 1978

Child under six years old must reside in or regularly visit the property

A frequently visiting child is defined by HUD as the SAME child visiting 3 hours a day, 2 days a week (60 hours a year)

Mortgage payments, tax payments must be current, and property must be free of liens

NOTE: Mobile homes are NOT eligible for LHRP, but other City of Tucson home repair programs can assist mobile home.
Household

Homeowners or renters can apply. If renting, applications will need landlord approval.

All adults in the household must be willing to participate.

Household income cannot exceed 80% of Area Median Income for the City of Tucson. The income of all adults living in the home will be added together to calculate the household income. Below are the 2025 income limits:
